Lemon Madeira Cake Mix

Our Madeira cake is a delicious sponge cake infused with lemon. A delicious and simple cake mix for cakes or cupcakes. With a light lemony sponge it can be served with or without icing, to create a firm family favourite.
Cooking Instructions
Use 500g of mix to 200ml of water. (To turn into fruit cake, add the fruit of your choice plus 38g of bread flour)
- Mix on a slow speed for 3 minutes, slowly adding the water
- Then mix on a medium speed for 3 minutes until the batter is smooth.
- Pour into a lined/greased loaf or cake tin (or cupcake cases).
- Bake at 190°C for 25-35mins
